Ryan will take you on a journey into the jungle to search for nocturnal wildlife. You will find and learn about nighttime creatures including frogs, snakes, mammals, and bugs. Don’t worry, Ryan is an expert at handling them. Make sure to bring your headlamp!

Ryan King, MSc completed research in tropical soil microbiology and has taught Microbiology and Psychology at Concorde Medical Career College as well as Food Microbiology and Environmental Science at Johnson and Wales University, Denver.
He writes Global Change news and develops open source ecology applications related to soil carbon, food production and biofuels. Many of his publications may be found at https://news.mongabay.com/by/ryan-king/.
King has worked as a naturalist guide in Costa Rica and Panama for a combined time of nine years. He currently teaches Tropical Biology and Global Change at the Kalu Yala Institute and guides day and night nature tours.
