The Mother Tree Trib. The name itself evokes a sense of mystery and wonder. This is a hike for those who like to explore and truly leave the beaten path (or any path at all). This hike follows directly up the path this small tributary has chosen to carve through the jungle. If you are willing to keep climbing up-and-up you will be rewarded with picturesque little swimming holes like the one featured in the photo. If that's not enough, keep going until we reach the source and find our way to the summit of Cerro Prominente (It has been done, It's possible!)
This hike is in the stream the whole time. Bring only clothes and gear you don't mind getting wet in.
